Immune Support Tea

This tea is recommended by Berris Burgoyne, BHSc, ND. She is a renowned herbal clinician of over 20 years, practicing in Brisbane, Australia.

Next time you are feeling down and out, curl up with a blanket and a mug of this delicious, potent brew. It will encourage a mild rise in body temperature and induce sweating.

Ingredients

·        Juice of 1 lemon

·        1-2 cloves of garlic crushed or finely chopped

·        1 teaspoon finely chopped or grated fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon dried ginger

·        Pinch of chili powder or a little chopped fresh chili

·        1-2 teaspoons of honey (if desired)

Directions

Place the ingredients in a mug. Pour boiling water into the mug. Cover the mug and let infuse for about 10 minutes.
