A report published in the "Spine Journal," confirms what chiropractors have said for years: chiropractic care does NOT cause an increased risk of strokes. Frank Silver, researcher and professor of medicine at the University of Toronto, states, "We didn't see any increased association between chiropractic care and usual physician care, and the stroke.

Nutrition Myths---Don't Be Fooled Myth #4---Avoid Coffee and Caffeine It is a myth that coffee and caffeine products contribute to serious health conditions such as cancer and heart disease. According to Harvard researcher Walter Willet, recent developer of the new Food Pyramid, people who drink coffee in moderation are doing little to contribute to their cancer and heart disease risk. He states that they may even be getting some benefits. While it is true that too much caffeine can have a powerful effect on your ability to sleep, increases anxiety, irritability and headaches, coffee drinkers have fewer kidney and gallstones and a 50% lower suicide rate than non-coffee drinkers.
